At home in Cossogno
In the middle of the authentic village, in a wonderfully restored and perfectly equipped "cottage" we have found a great base for exploring the area and excursions to the lakes. The warm welcome of the landlord, the starter pack of Italian food, everything was just fine.

Fantastic Clematis Lodge
Clematis Lodge and Cossogno were really an amazing experience. We were welcomed by the very friendly and caring owner Laura who speaks extremely good english. We were happy about that :-) Laura showed us the house which was very clean and charming in an authentic italian style. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bathroom seemed new and the bedroom had a very good kingsize bed. There were two terraces, one which was covered and one without with nice plants and flowers. Cossogno is a very quiet village where you can get relaxed. The people in the village is very friendly. In the village there is an osteria which is very good and well visisted...so remember to reserve a table. From Cossogno it is possible to hike into the national park Valle Grande. We found that the beaches in Suna were the best beaches for bathing....and we found easily parking each time :-) It is also easy from Cossogno to explore the small towns in the neighboorhood and the lake with its islands. We will absolutely recommend Clematis Lodge.

Great Family Vacation
Only positive on our stay in Cossogno. Irreproachable home of Laura and Luca with a "welcome kit" very appreciated! (orange juice, milk, prosecco, dough, coffee tomato sauce, sugar, ...) and the cleanliness of the place! The area is superb and we had very good advice from our hosts. The small house is functional, very pretty in a quiet and typical village. We strongly recommend that you come to discover this beautiful region by settling at Laura and Luca !!

We were absolutely enchanted by the place; the neighborhood and the house as well. The town is a treasure and the house a pearl in it. Our hosts were lovely; very kind and supportive. We have no complaints; our trip turned out a wonderful one with a perfect choice of this temporary home. Thank you.

Strategic and Relaxing Location
You can leave for any part and you are there shortly after: Swiss, various lakes; Maggiore, Mergozzo, Orta,, Domodossola, Val Canobina, Val Vigezzo. On the way back the quiet of Cossogno, the convenience of a laundry room shared with Laura, a kind owner, discreet and always present for every doubt or need.

Well equipped, good beds, very clean, beautiful decorated, quiet, friendly host
The lodge is tastefully decorated, has good beds, very clean, is well equipped, has excellent access to hiking paths nearby and 40 min. drive to the remote side of the Val Grande National Park. The Lago Maggiore is a 15 min. drive by car. Laura, the host, is very kind and helpful. The house is in the village centre, so church-bells every half hour. Otherwise very quiet location. Good restaurant and small supermarket (it sells bread) in the village.
